A woman in Ohio recently recovered a wallet she lost quite a while ago. And by "quite a while ago," I mean "44 years ago."
Hmmm...how useful would my wallet be 44 years in the future? I sort of doubt my UNC OneCard would work anymore. Ditto for my credit card, debit card, and library card. My driver's license would be long since expired, if it hadn't already been revoked for multiple cases of vehicular manslaughter.
I can only hope, though, that my Burger King crown card with the $15 value will still be usable in the year 2052. Will they still have chicken tenders? If they don't, I'm not sure life will be worth living.
