...Or so says Sports Illustrated. There we are, right between football powerhouses Rutgers and Tulsa--the University of North Carolina Tar Heels. Just think! If those thirty-three other teams all died off in freak accidents, we'd be #1 in the land!
Furthermore, SI thinks we're (I should note: despite my repeated use of "we," I have no connection whatsoever to the football team) going to finish 8-4 and go 5-3 in the conference. And who am I to argue with SI?
Personally, I'm happy that we found a quarterback who seems to realize that the point of the game is to throw the football to your own team--NOT the other guys. A subtle point, but a crucial one for any good QB to understand.
