Understatement in Action

The defining quote from this Ohio story (the third story of the day from the Buckeye state, in fact):

The dispatcher tells him it will be OK.

"It isn't OK," Hopkins said. "I killed my best friend."

I just hope this doesn't get in the way of their friendship.
