Random DC Incident

While walking to work today, I heard the unmistakable sound of "Taps." Someone, somewhere was playing it on the saxophone, and playing it pretty well. Who knows why? As I listened, "Taps" eventually faded into "The Star-Spangled Banner." Who knows why? DC has a sometimes-deserved reputation for blandness. But at times it can be a wonderfully weird town.
